The latest offering from the critically acclaimed writer Liane Moriarty is the book called The Husband’s Secret. The entire plot of the book revolves around the premise of a letter that was not supposed to be open. This letter opens a Pandora’s Box that has the potential to wreak havoc in her life as well as her close confidants.

Cecilia is a mother of three and married to John-Paul. They live a happy life until one day; she discovers an old envelope in the attic of her house. The envelope has been written by her husband, the cover of which clearly mentions: to be opened only in the event of my death. However, curious to know the contents, Cecilia opens the envelope. The story then takes a gruesome turn for her as her entire life is turned upside down. Will Cecilia be able to handle the ignominy wrought upon her by her very own husband? Will she be able to come out of this phase of her life in which she is tested on all fronts? She has to come to terms with the juggernaut of emotions flowing through her and the fact that these emotions are because of the person she loves the most in this world.

The book is a perfect read for a cold winter Sunday. Pick up this page turner today…

I have read Moriarty’s ‘The Last Anniversary’ and it was quite interesting. No doubt this one would be a page turner.
